Seven whole days of keto done! I feel really proud for making it through this week.
At first, I was afraid I’d want to stop after the first week, but I feel completely on board with doing another week of keto.

My Two Week Keto Diet Journal – Day Seven
My Keto Macros Plan
Daily target macros:
Calories – 1600
Fat – 124 grams
Protein – 70 grams
Carbs – 50 grams
Keto Weight Loss Tracker
Starting weight – 181.4
Today’s weight – 177.6
Total Weight loss – 3.8 lbs
The scale was the same this morning. However, I’m not upset about that. I’ve already lost enough weight for one week.
My Keto Food Diary – Day Seven
Breakfast – Uh oh! I had a little cheat this morning. There was a teaspoon of coconut sugar in my coffee. (More about that below.) I also used a splash of heavy whipping cream as usual.
Lunch – Six turkey sausage links. I wasn’t very hungry today, plus I was looking forward to an early dinner.
Dinner – Carnitas with cheese, sour cream, and an avocado.
Snack – 2 oz of Ningxia Red and some Monterey Jack cheese while I cooked dinner
Calories – 1427
Fat – 104g
Protein – 77g
Carbs – 43g
How I Feel on Day Seven of Keto
I’ve completed seven days of keto and I’m so glad I decided to try it. Fourteen days doesn’t seem as long as it did when I first started.
I can do this! Even though, frankly, I’m starting to feel a little bored with my food choices. Of course, that leads me to the next topic . . .
I Put Sugar In My Coffee On Keto
Ok. Let’s talk about that coconut sugar in my coffee.
I just wanted something to liven up my morning. As I’ve said before, I miss coconut sugar in my coffee.
I keep waiting for the guilt to hit me, but honestly, I don’t feel guilty about it at all.
It was delicious. It’s crazy how I can taste one teaspoon of sugar in my coffee now when I was regularly using three heaping teaspoons full before. See, once your tastebuds reset any amount of sugar really stands out.
Y’all, that coffee was delicious. Yum!
Restless Leg Syndrome on Keto?
This morning I researched restless leg syndrome and keto, but found few results that link the two. Nevertheless, I definitely had restless legs last night. It affected my sleep.
Since magnesium helps with restless legs, I’ve been spraying on magnesium oil throughout the day. So, here’s to a good night’s sleep tonight.
