My 14-Day Keto Experiment – Keto Diet Day Eleven
So, I skipped writing about my keto diet for a few days. Today is day eleven on keto and things have been rolling along. I don’t have a lot to say about keto today, but what I do have to say you can see below.

My Two Week Keto Diet Journal – Day Eleven
My Keto Macros Plan
Daily target macros:
Calories – 1600
Fat – 124 grams
Protein – 70 grams
Carbs – 50 grams
Keto Weight Loss Tracker
Starting weight – 181.4
Today’s weight – 177.6
Total Weight loss – 3.8 lbs
I’m still holding steady at a weight loss of 3.8 pounds. Even though I haven’t lost any weight for several days, I’m okay with that. I wanted to lose five pounds during this two week keto experiment, but I’m okay with 3-4 pounds in that time frame.
My Keto Food Diary – Day Eleven
Breakfast – Let me be really honest here – I’m not going to stop putting coconut sugar in my coffee. Ever. So breakfast was coffee with heavy cream and a teaspoon of coconut sugar.
Lunch – Garlic Butter Cream Cheese Chicken and Cheesy Broccoli Soup
Dinner – Hamburger patty with two eggs, over easy in butter
Snack – avocado with cottage cheese
Actual Macros
Calories – 1358
Fat – 104g
Protein – 78g
Carbs – 30g
How I Feel on Day Eleven of Keto
I love how I feel on intermittent fasting. With intermittent fasting, low carb, and high fat, I get this feeling of running on ‘clean energy’. I don’t feel hyped, but instead I simply experience a gentle, sustained energy and drive all day.
The best part about intermittent fasting is not having to take the time to eat breakfast when I’d rather jump into my day. I think about food less and I get more done.
For now, I’m doing 18/6 intermittent fasting. My first meal of the day is around noon and I don’t eat after six in the evening.
Yes, I Still Put Sugar In My Coffee
It just makes my life better. And yes, I understand that a teaspoon of sugar in my coffee technically means I’m not fasting. Yes, I get that it knocks me out of ketosis.
Right now, I don’t care. I’m happy with my choice.
I guarantee I’ll still meet my weight and health goals – even with a teaspoon of sugar in my morning coffee.
Remember, I’m doing what works for me. I can’t say what’s right for you.
Will I Stay On The Keto Diet After Day Fourteen?
Right now I don’t think I’ll stay on a completely clean keto diet. I’ll definitely do low carb, high fat, but I won’t continue to track my macros for too much longer. It takes a lot of time and it’s not worth it.
These two weeks are teaching me what it feels like to eat within my macros and I’ll know if I go over by how I feel and how my weight loss progresses.
